A Nightly Walk

Our Family Ritual

Ok, so on most week nights we go for a walk. I love our little walking trail. It is right down the street from us. It is the perfect time to work out some stress and get some quality "talk time" with Kory.

Jack always has to have a water bottle.

I am a little lazy and make Kory push the stroller.  I know I need the extra workout, but I hate to push.

When we see the geese Jack gets so excited and has to do the sign language he learned at school (I think it is actually the sign for "duck", but that is ok).

My 2 Boys

Here they are.  The two men of my life, Jack and Kory.

Jack was so happy to see his Dad after he finished playing golf.  He has been saying his name all the time.  He is becoming more and more of a Daddy's boy.  He loves to try and hit golf balls just like his Dad.  He usually misses, but he loves to try.

I am sad to say his favorite word is NO.  He loves it.  It is usually his answer to every question.
Do you love Mommy? NO
Did you have fun at school? NO
Is your name Jack? NO
However, if we ever ask him if wants to go "walking", he ALWAYS answers yes.  He loves to walk because after the walk, he gets to play at the park.  :)

Just like Dad

Jack LOVES his Daddy. Jack and I went and watched him play a couple of holes the other day. I took a few pics of them. Too Cute. Jack had a blast. He loved all the water. He just couldn't understand why he couldn't swim in the water.

The Masters 2010

After many years of waiting, Kory and I finally were able to attend the Masters.  We anxiously headed out early Sunday morning for Augusta.

We decided to check it out after we got to Augusta.

We walked along the riverwalk.  It was beautiful.

Then we went to the Augusta Musuem.  It has some really neat exhibits on golf and
Bobby Brown (a native of Augusta)........

I love to eat.  Kory and I also love to watch the Food Network, not that I ever cook, but it is fun to watch.  So, with us being so close to Savannah, I HAD to go on the "Paula Dean Tour" and eat at her restraunt.  It might have been the highlight of our trip for me.
Here is Kory eating at the Lady and Son's restraunt.

We also went and ate at Paulas brother's restraunt, Bubba's Oyster Bar, it was delicious.  We also had a pleasent suprise, Bubba was there.  He talked with us for a little bit.  we found out he has a connection to us, he is a duck hunter and loves to duck hunt in the best state, ARKANSAS!

Here is a picture of the beautiful city of Savannah:

So Pretty!

The we got to see Magnolia Lane......

We even saw George Lopez leaving the golf course.
The next day we got to see the course and some players.....
The master himself .....Phil

Spring Break (by Jack Cannon)

Ok, I had a blast during Spring Break.  It was so much fun.  I started off spending the weekend in Magnolia.  I got to see all of "my people" as Landon calls them.

I had my first ice cream cone in Shreveport.  I loved it.  I kept asking for "more".
and more.....

until my Dad finally gave it to me....

I loved it!  Mom was glad she had a spare shirt in the car.

Lunch at Superior Steak House

We had lunch with Uncle Chris and Aunt Polly.  It was fun, but I had to take a couple of walks.  Eating can get so boring at times.

Crawfish Boil

My Uncle Lolo, Uncle Chris, and Dad had a Crawfish Boil on Friday night.  It was so much fun.
I love crawfish!
